This course is specifically designed for combat EMS/military personnel, including medics, corpsmen, and pararescue personnel who are being deployed in support of combat operations.
The course can also be tailored to suit the needs of law enforcement special weapons and tactics teams and special response teams.
STOPS Medical employs TCCC/TECC instructors who possess authentic real-world experience in treating casualties in combat or tactical operations.
NAEMT's TCCC course is accredited by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS) and recognized by the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT).
STOPS Medical also offers Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) for civilian tactical EMS (EMTs, firefighters, paramedics, law enforcement, executive protection, lifeguards, and armed guards)
TCCC courses are conducted by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) as part of its renowned PHTLS program, which is a leading provider of prehospital trauma education worldwide. These courses follow the guidelines set by the Department of Defense's Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) and utilize the military textbook from the PHTLS program.
The TCCC course endorsed by the American College of Surgeons is exclusively offered by NAEMT.
